Remove laptop screen?

Hi i have a spare laptop i was wondering if i take off the screen would it be like a regular plug, could i plug it in the my pc and use it as a second screen? Not sure because i never been big on laptops. Thanks.

I really doubt it, screens are wound so closely into the laptop and it would probably cause catastrophic damage..

Nope. It's a little plug that goes into the mobo so no, you can't use it as a separate screen.

You can probably use the Laptop as a Second Monitor, though.
