remove nick from screen

ok. in my despite moment of iditosity, i droped a tape mesure on my bed and bounced and took a small nick from my screen (laptop) it is just a scratch so it is not damaged but is there a way to remove it. i was thinking like a buffing thing but i dont want to do more damage. and help?

I've heard Brasso can help with minor scratches, but I doubt something from a tape measurer would be that minor. Plus most of the time the "repaired" surface is something like an ipod which has rather hard plastic on the outside. I'm not so sure about the material used on LCDs.

Dont some or most laptops have a protective layer over the screen? i cant remember if mine does or not, i would have to walk to far to look

lol. just like you. if it involves exersise, just call brother . but no, mine does not. should of got one but i would of never thought i would put a nick in my screen. i will ty what the other one said. once i get it
