Remove secondary hard drive and get BSOD

Wonder if some one could help me with this one because its a odd one, every time I remove my second SSD drive I cant boot up my PC. I will not stop getting BSOD's.. And this really confuses me because all I use that hard drive for is backing up my media, there is nothing tied to my OS drive within it.

Any thoughts guys ?

If that drive was attached when you installed windows to your other drive its very possible that the boot files were placed on that drive. If you take the drive out, then the system won't boot. Remove the drive and do a repair install of windows.

Correct. However, its always best to backup any data in case disaster strikes. If its been a long time since you freshly installed windows then i would go ahead and do that anyway. You'll be at peak performance afterwards.
