When I boot Ubuntu it Just freezes. I formated my partition and it isn't there anymore, but still comes up on my dual boot screen. How do I remove it from my dual boot screen?

Oh, I must add that I tried to uninstall Ubuntu again and 2 Ubuntu (s) came up and When I tried to boot the first one It didn't work and the second one just froze when It stared. I un-installed the second one instead of reformatting that partition and it went back to one. I still want to remove that one that doesn't work because I think that's leading to why the second one just froze.

i have exactlythe same problem ith ubuntu. i am also formatted the partitio,b ut the option is still present in the boot menu.
any one plz give us help...........!!

to fix this problem since no windows is there to boot jsut the laod screen. go to msconfig>boot tab. then delete the list of OS that you dont want there. dont delete the one set as default/current OS. and your problem is solved

I am using the windows bootloader, not grub, and Ubuntu is still present in the windows bootloader.
