Ok, here's the deal...I've got a guy that can't remember his Vista password and didn't create a "reset your password" option via USB. Also, and very important, the disk drive is broken. I've been unsuccessful at creating a bootable version of my vista password remover via USB flash drive and have found it quite impossible to go any network route. I also have no external disk drive (unless you count my data recovery tool that plugs in via USB that I can attach any disk drive to and have it work...well it doesn't in this case)..
What I need to know is: is there a way to remove a windows password from vista having the HDD plugged into another machine? If so how? Or if you can conjure up any other methods, please let me know. Thanks.
