Removing all remaining Office files?

I hate to come here with what probably is an easy solution, but I am stumped. I have searched almost all day, with limited results. Mainly, and I hope due to the fact of me being a little apprehensive about proceeding with certain things.

Anyways, my story. I bought a new HP pc at christmas, or course came with Office Pro trial version. All on Windows 7. My wife is in her 3rd semester of coding school. She has been buying the book sets that come with Office Pro Academic 2010.

She went to try and install it and got some errors. Only to find out that Microsoft will only allow 2(?) versions of trial. Of course, the d!ckheads at MS won't help, but they sure want me to pay that arm and leg for a full version.

She talked to her teacher and she found a site that went over this. Saying you could go thru and manually remove the hidden files, or completely wipe out (format) the hd. Even tho we don't have a lot of info on the comp, I am trying to keep from formatting.

I had to go in and change the properties of some files, and got them removed. But, there are 2 files left, that won't let me do anything. The files are OfficeAV.loc and OfficeAV.dll.

Does anyone have any input as to what I can do to get rid of these? I have found some removal stuff but all that seems to be for Office 07, and not too sure if it is the same or not. But, found nothing on these particular files.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

thanks
JJ

Sorry, but that can't be discussed here. You are circumventing the trial version in order to get it illegally. And any illegal activity can't be discussed on this forum. Thread closed.
