Removing anti-virus - quarentine?

I downloaded a trial version of a spyware remover, the trial has now expired.
If I remove the trial what will happen with the quarentine list?

The files that were quaranteened would remain on the drive if they were there to begin with. Often these tryout spyware removers claim to find things where you need to buy the retail version to have them removed. Before any panic sets in you can try a few freewares to see if they find any adawares or spywares on your system. The links here are for a few of them.

For AVG 7.1 free edition, http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5 AVG often detects trojans in addition to being an antivirus program.

Ewido is also a free adware/spyware remover found at Grisoft. http://free.grisoft.com/doc/ewido-anti-spyware-free/lng/us/tpl/v5

AdAware SE Personal finds what Ewido misses and Ewido finds what AdAware misses. You can download AdAware free at http://www.lavasoft.com

Spybot Search + Destroy can be found at http://www.majorgeeks.com/SpyBot-Search_&_Destroy_d2471.html

Many antivirus programs will ask if you want to delete the quarantine list on uninstall. Just try it and see what happens.

When you get rid of it, put on Avast! It is free, free updates and everything and it is a far more comprehensive protection than AVG, Norton, McAffee or any of those others.
