Removing case fan connected to motherboard

Alright, so I have this case fan which directs air out of the case - came with the computer.
Compared to an aftermarket one I have, its pretty weak, so I want to replace it.

However, this is hooked up only to the motherboard, through the small 3 pin connector.

How do I unplug it?
it sounds stupid, but it feels like it stuck there!

Anything special you have to do?

thanks

If the connector looks like this you just pull it off.

It should not be that hard to pull off. Just make sure it doesnt have some kinda of weird clip holding it on. If its like the one in the photo it should just pull right off.

Strangle, it looks like it just like the one in the picture.

Im gonna turn off and try it now... hmm - maybe there is some clip I can see?

OK, got it.

See that tall thing in the picture, that clips in into place?
That was the problem, lol

Then I ended up bending it too much and it broke off.
so now I can plug and unplug it freely, without the hassle.
