Here is a tutorial to remove the arrows from sortcuts in Windows

1)Open Notepad and copy and paste the following:

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\lnkfile]
@="Shortcut"
"IsShortcut"=""

2)Go to file, save as. Name the txt file as shortcut.reg

3)Exit Notepad, and double click the file. It will say a new entry is about to be entered into the registry. Click OK.

4)Open a new file in notepad and paste the folloing:

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\piffile]

"IsShortcut"=""

5)Go to file, save as. Name the txt file as shortcut.reg

6)Exit Notepad, and double click the file. It will say a new entry is about to be entered into the registry. Click OK.:)

Why should I trust someone who has been banned to edit my registry. Anyone else tried this? Cause I really hate those little friggin arrows. 23 posts and already banned, jeez.

why should i remove the arrows then? i dont know, if i remove them then it will be hard to know if the file is exe or a shortcut!
