rendering farm

i got a goodie....k i wanna build a rendering farm in hopes i can make it work to other tasks besides graphics and sound rendering...k so i read some pages on rendering farms and such...so can i use a render farm for like other tasks...like gaming?...or servering?...any ideas....i got enough boards and stuff like that to build them so the main concern is can i make this render farm play games?

Im pretty sure you cant play games in such a way. But if ur looking to render video and such, render farms may be used in those instances as u mentioned.

You could use one of the machines in the farm for gaming but the idea of the farm is to use cheap machines. (Unless you are loaded which if you were you wouldnt be asking this question) So if you tried gaming with one of the machines you could only play frogger on it. Unless you built the main station (which does no rendering) for gaming. Hope this makes sense.
