repartition?

I know how to format and patition, but i want to know if i can make a partition larger without losing anything on the drive? I have 2- 320gb hard drives, which i run a dual boot system from, drive 1 is 30/290 with xp on the first 30 and storaqge on the 290, the same with 2nd drive except using Vista on the first 30, and storage on the 2nd 290, can i repartition the second drive and make one big partition or just make them even at 160 gb each?

It's possible, but there is always a chance that data will be lost so if possible back everything you need on the other drive temporarily until the resizing is complete. Gparted is a free utility that can resize partitions there is also partition magic but that is commercial software you have to buy.
