Replaced laptop display, backlight works, but no actual image?

I replaced the Cathode tube lit LCD screen in my Acer Aspire 5738z last night with an LED screen (it came with a LCD to LED converter cable.)

The back-light is working perfectly (the screen IS illuminated) but no video is being displayed on the screen, just solid black.

Any help would be much appreciated as I am at a dead end here everything seems to be connected correctly? Thanks!

Disconnect the cable from screen, clean the connector and the port in screen. Connect it again. If still nothing shows up then its probably not compatible Sometimes, there is a compability problem even in the same backlight type of screens so i guess thats it.

Correct. If you don't get any video then it's not compatible.
