replacing a lcd backlight

my benq lcd recently failed on me, im pretty sure its the blacklight. it turns on and you can just barely see the benq logo, then the desktop in the right light.

this is my backlight right?
how much will i be spending to replace it?
do computer repair shops offer repairs for this?

Shine a flashlight on the screen, if you can see everything you're supposed to it's the backlight. Either or, it's sounds like the backlight. They cost, $20-40, I think I've never tangled with the issue.

I'm sure most computer repair shops offer this service, they'll charge you three time more due to labor though.

yeah in some cases your best off just buying a new things than getting one repaired because labour costs are usualy twice the replacement part you pay for
