Replacing hard drive, help?

The new one should be compatiable and work for my computer won't it? I have an eMachines El1200-05w. Also, what's the difference between 16mb cache and 8mb cache hard drives? What mb is my old one?

The new hard drive seems to have reviews for being slow. Can anyone suggest another at exactly $45 or less?

There seems to be a lot of complaints about the Seagate model ST3320613AS hard drive you are looking at. I would go with the Western Digital hard drive Johnb35 recommended.
