I dont know much about the internal workings of computer. Im getting a laptop friday, with a 256k Dedicated ram video card (7600 nvidia) and i realize its not the best card. All prices aside, im willing to pay a premium to upgrade, is it possible to bring it to any laptop repair store/geek squad or something to get the video card upgraded? labor pricing if so?

I wouldn't mind having that in my laptop....
If it's dedicated you should be able to replace it, but I don't know where you could get one.

Laptop's don't use a specific card. If you have a dedicated card, you should be able to remove it as mentioned. However, you have to find another card made specifcally for that model of laptop. If you're lucky, you can find something better. Try ebay...
