Replacing LCD Laptop Screen?

I have recently broke my laptop screen and I was wondering would it be a good idea to buy the LCD screen myself and replace it or pay a professional to do it for me? Is it really that hard to do?

All you need to do is remove the bezel around the screen and remove the screen. Stick the model number into eBay and buy a replacement.

Just be sure to remove the battery and disconnect the AC adapter before messing with it.
