New Egg is sending me a new MOBO and CPU....I put WIN 7 64 on as my operating system......Do I just swap these parts out and push the power button, or is there something else that I will need to do to rebuild my computer.....I only had it up and going for less than a week...

Thx

Your operating system(Windows 7) is saved on the hard drive and as long as you dont replace it you will be able to boot as normal. So you should be able to just replace and boot :)

If its the same board, you will not have a problem. If is a different board with the same chipset it should still boot, but it might have different onboard sound an LAN. If so you would need to uninstall the drivers for those and install the new boards drivers.

It should be the exact same brand and ver. of the board.....I was just wondering on terms of Wimdows thinking I was trying to install on another computer.....

I'm brand new to all this computer building, don't really know any better...

Thx
