Replacing video card on a Dell Optiplex GX280

Here's a basic overview of the computer:

OS: WinXP
Model: Optiplex GX280
Prcsr: Intel Pentium 4 2.80 GHz
Mem: 2038MB RAM
Display Device: Intel 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family - 128MB Total Mem

I was told that the video card was on the motherboard..or something like that..and it can't be switched out for a better one. Is it possible to put another card in there and use that instead of what I have now?

Thanks.

Do u have an AGP or PCI-E slot? If you do you can put a different video card in. I had my onboard video card for a while then bought a new one as long as u have and AGP or PCI-E slot you can upgrade

Depending on what type of card you have (I'm going to guess PCI or AGP) you need to find a card that is LOW PROFILE because of your small case size. Although you could always swap the components into a larger case.(Thats what I had to do) I had a Gateway E-4100 workstation.
