Request : sprays tutorial for CSS please

i really cant get this to work don't know if there any restrictions on the amount of colours in a spray or anything like that


but a tutorial on how to make aa spray import into CSS would be greatly appreciated by me and im sure a few other users would find it useful as well :)

I've found it to be really simple myself, all you need is a photo you'd like as your spray, and CSS. Whether it's a photo of the family cat or a Photoshopped work of art, save the file where CSS can easily find it.

I think by default this is in the screenshots folder so when you have your file ready to save go My Comp, Prog. Files, Steam, Steam Apps, (your login name), Counter Strike Source, Cstrike, Screenshots.

Open CSS, then go to Options => Import Spray. Locate the same folder when opening the import spray button. Then import the spray, and it should be listed under your drop-down menu. You may have to click it. Now, join a server OR reconnect to a server, and during the game look at a wall or the floor and press the / key.

Hopefully that works for you. I've used pictures almost as small as avatars and as large as 1280x800 screenshots as my sprays and they all looked fine in game.
 
also i was wondering if they needed to be resized coz one time i did manage to get a picture in it was horrible distorted and you couldn't see what it was of

I guess not:

In order to correctly see your sprays clearly, you need to have your Texture setting on High. This is found in Option -> Video -> Advanced.
