Resetting My Network Noob Style

ok, did that, it still says ip is 10.0.0.4, subnet is 255.255.255.0, and default gateway is 10.0.0.1, and all teh network stuff still works.

well, if that didn't do it, i'm outta material in my bag of tricks. I tried hard. with all that i've done, your computers SHOULD be able to see each other. i have no idea why they can't. Perhaps someone else could offer some advice. Maybe i'll learn from it as well.
