restarting facebook

i have a facebook account, but almost never use it. however, i need to have an account for a couple of my classes. stupid, but whatever.

i need to get rid of everything i have on the account, pics, videos, friends, etc. and start fresh.

can i just cancel my account and set if up again, or can i set up a different one using my school email address?

can i have more than one fb account??
how would i go about this?

Just deactivate your old account and create a new one with your school email. You can't ever truly delete your account.

I found an option to permanently delete once. When I went to log in later I was told I had no account and had a fresh start. Had to Google to find the link since it was hidden.
