Restarts only when gaming... PLZ help

I know redrider773 and he has a LOT of extra stuff in his case- 2 LED fans, a MASSIVE heatsink w/ 2 fans on it, a cold cathode, a nice LED temperature meter, PCI Fan, and countless other crap in his expansion slots, not to mention a prescott P4..... I would assume that he would need to have a VERY stong PSU to handle all of that- he currently has this PSU
Well since all that bling bling crap barely uses any power i wouldnt say "very strong" PSU as a requirement.

At 24A, the PSU should be sufficient to power his stuff decently

Praetor, could you explain please?
I dont live here. Bombarding the thread wont make me reply faster

Okay, now its restarting during norton virus scans, and when it stars up again, it says "Windows has just recovered from a serious error: send, dont send". And I'm pretty sure my PC says "Hi motherf-cker" at startup... any suggestions, lol? really tho, I'm stumped... virus? (BTW, my PEICE OF CRAP ASRock mobo dont let me touch vCore + crap)

What?!?!?!?!!!? i wish my computer could sound like a badass when it starts up... like "back da f* up from 'dis computer youh dirtay houu"

ya, cept mines prolly some hacking scumbag who disabled my virus protection and is just having fun w/ me like a kid on an ant hill... BTW, my norton intruder protection is.. "corrupted"... God help me

ok, look, do this, 1 download avast, 2 update it, 3 unplug from the internet, 4 scan, 5 reboot, 6 connect to internet

wow, looks like you got your handfull on both computer software AND hardware issue. Yikes.

I know the psu has 580 watt of power and 24amps on the 12v rail but doesn't the brand Powmax bring up suspisions? I mean a 580watt psu only costing 30 bucks...

Ya, guess I am regretting cheaping out on that, lol. I'm so f-cked. Avast didn't work, didn't get past scaning 100 files in 9 hrs.

Okay, wow guys, this is getting serious. check this out, and if anyone knows how to stop this, or what is going on, or anything, please post... On my norton statistics, it says: "Personal firewall: you were last attacked on 8/30/05 2:30:01 PM. Recent intrusion attempts: 1. Most frequent attacker: 69.28.156.250" Guys, this is the exact time that it last restarted while virus scanning...

Hmm hate problems liek these cant find and answer easily. I have to say that psu looks very suspicious. When you go with volts and amps that high an average psu costs alot more i believe. Dramatic way out for your getting rid attacked "issue" change your ip adress. Or buy a program that rotates it or masks it. And i have no clue about your problem with your hardware about your system rebooting after playing games for 10-15 mins could be software releated

You could try and call you isp and see what they say and i dont belive in the rumors about that when u unplug your modem that it automatically get a different ip adress. Some of my friends swear it works but they got dsl and i got cable.
