Restore default location of "My... " Folders?

So I just installed my SSD last night and this morning I am just getting around to moving items over to my backup 500GB drive. I made an error when moving so now all of my pictures are on the D drive without being in a "My pictures" folder because I wasn't reading carefully enough, but now I don't know how to move them back.

My default storage location under the Pictures library locations are D:\ and C:\Users\Public\Pictures. How can I revert my pictures default location to the default filepath.

EDIT: I was able to move them back to C:\ (I Believe) But now the folder is appearing hidden.

You can always change file location to where your pictures are stored. All you do is right click on the pictures folder and click on properties. Then click on the location tab and change what drive or location you want to change it to. If pictures on a separate drive then just change the location to where they are stored.

I should have said Storage drive, not backup drive. But I did change the storage location, problem is I did it wrong (Stored in D: Not D:\folder). So I moved it back, but now the my pictures folder is hidden. How can I get it unhidden?

Go to folder options and change it so you can view hidden files and folders. Then you should just be able to right click on it, click properties and uncheck the hidden attribute.

I already tried that this morning, the box shaded out, and read-only became checked again when I applied it.

I would say move your data somewhere and then do a system restore to before you messed with it. May work.

Oddly enough, I resolved the issue by deleting the folders and location from the library, then Restoring to Default. Saved me a lot of headache.
