Hi I'm New,

I have an old Sony vaio PCG-971L That I need to restore.
I want to buy a Sony Vaio PCG-FXA36 - PCG-971L XP Windows Restore Disk from their site (restore-disk.com), but I don't know how to tell if it's trustworthy or not...

Does anyone know if I can trust it???
 
You can get here. pick your country. if you can access the internet with the laptop it will tell you which one. Click detect my 'model'. The other site looked like drivers only. Not operating system. Goto Sony site here.

you want to look for https and look for the lock in the system tray. the 'S' is for security. clicking the lock will tell ya when it expires and how much encryption basically.
