Restore Points Missing? (Win 7)

Greetings All,

(Win 7, plenty of hd space and ram, desktop dell, virus checked ok).

My brother informs me of the following;

"Created one restore point each of the last two nights. Just checked, and the only one that appears is the one from last night, even with the “Show more restore points” box checked."

Why are his restore points missing? Thanks in advance.

Cause system restore isn't the best in the world, there is always glitches with it. You can try turning it off and then back on again to clear it out but then he will lose any restore points that was there.

Yep, could be that as well. But even if it was set to 5 percent it would have more then 1 restore point.

Just now getting back to this. In regards to "how much disc space for restore", I do not know but, will have to ask him. Can you furnish me with the "path" in win 7 to get to that setting? I will relay that to my brother.

I just forwarded this over to him. I don't use/have win 7 so, not acquainted with it, etc.
