Restoring?

I am building my comp. in about 2 days when my final parts come in. I was wondering if (since I have bad luck) I sometimes have to restore my comp. Can I just install Microsoft XP again on the same comp. NO matter what?

You can reinstall XP again, you will most likely have to re activate it though. So if the key is already activated, you may have to deactivate the first copy.

So is that why it is sometimes better to buy your comp from someone. Like Dell or HP. When you just press a button and you have your comp restored.?

You will have to reactivate it, and after about 3 times of reactivating it you have to call and get a code from someone. It's really not that hard.
