Hello I have windows 7

I also have excel 2007

whenever i click a link in excel it says: this operation is cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. please contact your system aadministrator.

can you help?

What type of link are we talking about?

email or internet site link.... this is in my own excel files in my own personal computer

Can you click on html links in emails? Does your internet work normally? This could be signs of an infection or file corruption. In the start menu, under accessories, you will see command prompt. Right click and click on run as admin.

type sfc /scannow and hit enter. This will check your system files for corruption.
