May I ask why an SSD for storage? Kinda expensive for a storage drive.

Sure, I originally picked a WD black 1 TB for $72, but my current 500 GB platter is only half full and I'm doubling the size on my primary. I thought for $40 more it'd probably make a noticeable difference in typical daily use. Do you think not?

Unless you plan on installing games on to the drive that would benefit from the faster access times then to me its really not cost effective. But if you aren't worried about the money, then by all means. You can get a 1tb blue for like $45.

    $40 at Microcenter.

Yea, for $75 difference I'll just go with the blue drive. Thanks, John
