The disadvantage is that for a roughly similar price, you can get lots of better cards (or cards with fans at the least). I dunno if you mind the noise but you can get a 5800 for about $10 more. On a more direct note, try and get the 9600Pro (rather than the 9600).

There isnt really a "disadvantage" per se for that card as I dont knwo your budget or intent but i think you should prolly get a bit more as the 9600 is a obsolete design.

Am using it for gaming. The big thing was 'OMG 256 MEMORY FOR HUNDRED BUCKS!'. But yeah. Mind linking me to the site with the fabeled 'better cards'?

Yeah but 256MB dont matter all that much especially when the bottleneck is the pipleine/chip. Wait till the 6600s flood the market (hopefully) :D

Just grab the NF2 :) ... even the -X version is plenty good :)

but should I be getting more than a 350w PS with all this?
That would be better said, you should be getting a "good psu" rather than a "big" psu. :)
