So here's what I have so far.

Mobo-

So I need a decent PSU for this? How many watts do I need? I have a 530 hiper right now will that hold up? Or does it depend which gpu I get?

I need somebody to help me choose a GPU. Not doing much gaming, just a little occasionally, I want it to run google earth smooth along with be able to handle TV on one of the dual monitors (dual outputs is a must)

Anybody have a good PCI tv tuner? Im not doing this AIW thing again :cool:
 
7600 or 8600 would suit your graphics needs well. 530W is plenty for each of them, just be sure you have at least 25A on the 12V rail and you'll be safe for either. (for the graphics i prefer EVGA brand)
 
Like what games? I hardly play games. Main concern is google earth and the tv on my pc looking decent.
I don't play any of those big games that people really get into. Just when playing the occasional game on shockwave I would like it not to lock up and skip around etc...

Oh then if you really dont play games then that card should be fine. But what do you need that Quad Core for I would just get a core 2 duo.
 
For the first time i agree with jug get a core 2 well then jug maybe he just wants a quad perhaps to mutitask exspecicially with that tv tuner

Yeah, multitask is my middle name.
Usually I am seemingly watching tv, adding music to itunes, have aim and msn messenger going, burning a dvd, and so much more
