Reviving old computer CMOS issue

I revived my old desktop which i bought at late 2008.

I change the RAM because of the No Signal showing up at the monitor.

Now its perfectly working but there is still one problem, every time i turn off my computer the BIOS setting resets. Where every time I turn it on i have to set the date and time because it goes back to its manuf. date. I already replaced the CMOS battery twice with different brands. still nothing happened.

and another question I plan on upgrading it with a low budget. what video card should I buy? gonna use it for games.

Then it seems the battery socket is bad and battery isn't making contact. You can try bending that prong on the bottom to see if it makes contact. Can post pictures later as I'm at work now.

I already tried that before but its already making contact. And I am scared that I might break the prong at the bottom and side. However I am sure that the one under is making contact. I'll post pictures later.
