Rigged tests?, or just me?

Hey!

I came across something werid, the broadband speed test tiscali offer in custumer care seems to report around double the speed other independent tests report.

Try for yourself and see, the tiscali test is:

compare that to other speed tests ,you can google them up.

Iv tried that on two different computers/isp's and in both tiscali was double the speed.

which means you can download at 243.4 KB/sec. from our servers.

Speakeasy:
3308 / 1519
Your download speed : 3308 kbps or 413.5 KB/sec.
Your upload speed : 1519 kbps or 189.9 KB/sec.

Shows the opposite for me...

Because they are gay..... Really though it might just be an error or something that they have to work out.

There are alot of factors for the speed that you read.
1. How busy is your ISP?
2. How busy is the internet servers you have to go thru?
3. How busy is the service that rates your speed at the time you are using it?
