Rigging a laptop screen

Hey all.
Ive got an old compaq presario laptop screen that works great but has no computer to go to. So im wondering if its possible to hook the moniter up with some type of AV cable so I can stick it in my car and watch movies on it

yes it's possible, and i have done some pretty weird electronics things in the past like turining an old laptop into a car mp3 player, hahah, but i wouldent try to undertake that you're suggesting, but if you are very electronically inclined and have experience installing video and working on laptops i dont see any reason it wouldent work...
