Right Click freeze

Hi all.

Can anybody advise on why my Computer regularly locks up when i Right Click my Mouse.

Is there a free download that will magically fix this problem?

I use AVG antivirus and Reg Cleaner.

Have you got anything extra in the right click menu meaning have you recently installed a program that has added a command in this menu. It could be a poorly written code that is causing it.

There is a program called Shellexview you can download and this allows you to enable/disable individual right click commands to try and determine which one is causing it.

Nice one TFT. I will have a look at that link. I have recently added AutoCAD 2009 to my Computer and it as definately got worse since then, although i was experiencing some problems before.

Sorry for the delay in getting back.

The Mouse i use is only a 2 Button one. I am running on XP.

Do think that the Mouse could be the issue? A lot of the commands in AutoCAD require a centre wheel as well.
