Right Click Menu Loading Problem

Hi guys, hopefully you can help me with the current problem I am having. I am running Windows Vista and am having a problem with the right-click menu not loading on its own. When I right click on anything, only the "shadow" of the box appears. I have to run the mouse along the menu for the options to appear. Any idea what the problem is?

Download, and install ShellExView: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html
Open it. Click on Type column to sort all entries.
Right click, and Disable all non-Microsoft Context Menu types entries.
Restart computer, and see, if it helps.

In Vista are there any theme settings that affect context menus? Transparency? Check the Performance Options, themes etc. There are also small apps that enable transparency of menu but presumably you would know if you had one of those.

Try to set the WINDOWS CLASSIC theme,restart your computer and see if that helped.
If it did then again set the theme to the WINDOWS VISTA theme,restart your computer and see how it turns out.
