right click on mouse isn't working right in games

Hi there, I have a logitech mx-1000 laser mouse (wireless), model number m-rag97. When playing shooting games, when I hold the right mouse button to aim, it won't stick. It will go in and out of aim mode while holding the button. Is there any way to fix this or do I have to get a new mouse?

More than likely, the particular game you're referring to has the default set so that the ADS isn't toggled, but there may be a option in the game to enable ADS toggling or something similar. Beyond that, it may just be the mouse malfunctioning. I had a Razer Naga stop working and the left click did what the right click was supposed to and the middle click and right click did nothing, so it's not too far fetched to imagine.

I would try looking in the settings first, though.

EDIT:

Just noticed that you'd mentioned that you are holding the button when it does this. In that case, the only thing I personally can imagine it being is the mouse is malfunctioning, but others on the forums may know better than I so I wouldn't trust me just yet.

Sounds like a game option maybe. Repairing mice isn't really that easy. Once they're broken you're pretty much out of luck. See if there's any settings to play around with and if you've got a beater mouse laying around the house try that also.

The only thing i am thinking is that you may not have the function that should be occurring functioned into the mouse, go into the game and program it. If that doesnt work then it maybe a hardware problem
