hi, i'm looking at building this gaming build but would like to get suggestions on what i should change or improve on. my goal was to keep it under $1500 but have room to upgrade if i needed. specifically i am not too sure on teh ram. i wanted more than 4gb of ram and it to be ddr3.

suggestions are welcome and a suggestion on a case. i want something that stands out but am getting sick of my antec 900 and most of the cases have a similar look/ feel.

I've heard good things about the Lian-Li PC-K62 and HAF cases, and you could get Windows 7 RC for free and cut that out of your budget.

Otherwise, everything is fine.

sorry about the links being dead..hopefully this will work. but this is what i am looking at going with, only unsure about the mobo cause someone said i have room to upgrade it. and the ram since never got any feedback on that from teh people i asked. any input is welcomed since i am looking to order this week

i completely understand where you are coming from with the antec 1200, i have teh 900 and love it. but i am so sick of that look for a case i want to change it up a little.

any thought on teh mobo and ram?

wow love the mobo and like the psu.. do you have a link for the gpu? i don't didn't know anything about it so i don't even know who is going to be manufacturing them so i don't know where to look it up

THNX, think i might look into the 5850 since it is a little better than what i was looking at, and a little cheaper. but if i find i have extra funds might look intot he 5870... i looked and couldn't find when they were expected to be released.

do you have any suggestions on what ram i should be using?

your suggestions have all been really great so far

i am not expert on RAM...
Which mobo are you going to use? you need to check what speed it support...
