Ringing noise.

My monitor keeps making this really high pitched ringing noise(Sometimes it stops. Other times it will come back) and its starting to give me a headache.
Can I fix this somehow?

NEC FE992-BK 19" CRT
Diagonal 19"
Viewable 18"
.25mm horizontal dot pitch
Horizontal Sync 30-98 kHz
Vertical Sync 50-160 Hz
Max Resolution 1600x1200 @ 75Hz

The rest is irrelavant.
 
its probably resonance in a circuit inside, not a short as said earlier as it wouldn't be working.
its a common occurance on a crt devices, sometimes using different setings will stop this, i used to hit my old monitor but i wouldn't recommend that
