ripping music to hdd

the problem is basic I am trying to put them in the computer but when i do it says track 1-10 are ready in the computer do you wish to install how do i rename them?
 
Ripping is not a good term to use. Most people associate it with thievery. One assumes you are converting a cd of yours to say mp3 so you can play on your pc.

You really did not give a lot of details on what software you are using. In most cases, you have to allow the software to access the internet (by the player settings and the pc being online) so it can retrieve track info from freedb, cddb or windowsmedia.com's db.
