rly :S pls help!!!!

rite i am new to this forum so bare with me rite iv had my computer about 7-8 months now. the problem iv got is that my amd duron processor was saying it was running @ 2200mhz when i first got it in noticed a few months ago it had started saying 1200mhz when starting up ap and now its saying 1050mhz any1 got any ideas on wots going on:confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

Is this a custom computer or a OEM? (HP, Compaq, Sony, etc.)

Do you know model number the CPU is? And what it's suppose to be running at?
 
This happened to my friend, what needed to be done was in the control panel you click on power options then change it to home/office desk

it is alrdy on home/office desk
 
Well, you got the multiplier a bit low for that chip but even at the highest it shouldn't be at 2.2Ghz stock.

i proably remeber rongit mite have been 1800 but i certian it was never that low.

as far as ino i havent changed anything my self mainly coz i dont realy know that much about this sort of stuff.

so how would i change the multiplier and what would you say i should change it to??
 
managed to solve the problem so i thought id share it with you all. i went into the bios screen @ start up and jus went to change to optimal performance its increased my processor speed bk up2 2ghz agen :D:D:D:D:D:D
