Okay i am in the final steps of RMA'ing my faulty 4850 and i need a backup GPU because i have no integrated. I need a card that can at least play CSS on max settings at 1280x1024 (16xAF 8xAA) without lag. Nvidia or Ati - it doesn't matter as long as the card is around $60 AUD including shipping. I will be shopping at www.ebay.com.au

I will start looking myself but you guys are good for finding great deals.

thanks guys :good:

Why not just save the $60 and just wait for you 4850? RMA's usually only take a couple of weeks, seems like an unwise investment to me, by the time you find a card and it ships, your new 4850 could be on its way already.

Unless I'm missing something here, and you know its going to be sometime before you get it back :)

I realize that, I was just wondering why he would want to spend $60 low end card, when it might only be 12-14 day for his 4850 to be returned.

I'd rather have something a bit newer, hence the 4650/9400gt, but i will look into the 7600GT and maybe an X1650

I am new and posting this as a question. Did I read that you can use two different Radeon cards in Crossfire? If so could the 4650 then be used as the second card when the first returns?

Because i can't stand not having a computer/computer games for ~ 2 weeks. :P
Somehow i just can't. i will get bored out of my mind. I need to play CSS at least. :o

Also, I will buy a card before and recieve it before i ship my 4850 off to XFX's HK RMA centre.

That 4350 looks good, but i found something a bit better:

its gonna be at least a week till you get the card off ebay. imho, its not worth it, jack one from a loaner computer

Not if i get express shipping, which is next day delivery :D

If all else fails, i will beg my brother to let me use his HIS 4670, because he has an integrated GPU and i don't. :(
