This may sound strange but im looking for a router that will add ping time to my stats, currently on speedtest my ping is aroung 39ms to the best server, is there a router out there where i can make that increase, and also have QOS settings so i can throttle connections of certain devices, any help appreciated thank you.

Have you tried playing with an Asus that has OpenWrt installed? I am pretty sure i remember seeing something similar on a iptables thread a few years ago.

I don't think you need to slow the ping for your router. When you say "increase your ping", are you saying you want to go from 39ms to 60ms (or so)?

If you are attempting to allow faster bandwidth for some devices, and slower bandwidth for other devices, the QoS option is the way to go. On some routers you may need to configure all of your devices to achieve the desired goal. Other routers will allow you to change the QoS device by device (or IP by IP).

You could also set up a guest network on the router to be "less efficient", and then add the devices you want slower to that network. Once again, depends on your router and the options available. Look for something called "Media Prioritization", or something similar.

Hope this helps
