Router/device question

Hey guys I just bought a tp-link archer c1200 wireless router works great so far no issues yet, but when I Cooney my Xbox to my wifi it show up on the list of connected devices at this * I noticed this on my old router as well. Does this happen because my Xbox has no name on the network or does the router not know what to name my Xbox it also happens when my brother connects his ps4? I look forward to your replies thanks.

Could be that the router retrieves the MAC address from an online database and the vendor part of the MAC has nothing. Or it could be that the consoles don't supply an identifying name.

Similar to above, but it's likely there's just no name set. If you want to set a name try http://support.xbox.com/en-CA/xbox-one/console/system-settings
