I hooked up an old router I had today so I could network my laptop and my desktop as well as have wireless internet. However, since I hooked it up I have been having huge lag spikes in CSS. They last for about 5 seconds. I'm not sure if this problem has something to do with my router or not. Thanks for the help in advance.

try this, it's a tip that i learned,
*This works for both wired and wireless routers*
Put a fan that faces your router, yes that seems really simple but it also works, because even routers can get overheat problems
That just might be the problem or brianmay27 might be right about the router being the problem, or it might even be your computer you never know
