Router not working - Unable to retrieve any DNS

I tried configuring my router before for a PPP Over Eternet setup, it was getting DNS address automatically before but now its not getting any DNS addresses. I have entered my login and all properly but still it cannot connect to the internet. Some help is appreciated
 
what happens if you bypass the router and connect directly to your broadband modem....
 
It works like a charm, and I figured out that the router is faulty and I am getting a replacement as its still covered under warranty
