Hi everyone. I can not decide between tow routers, so i was hopping you could help me. Im between the ubiquiti air router and the tp link tl-wr1043nd.
My connection is simple: i have a desktop connected by cable, a notebook by wifi and a ps3 by wifi. The dpt is 100mt2 and the router will be in a lateral room, so it will have to go trough 1 concret wall and a couple wooden walls.
Considering all this, wich one would you buy and why?

thx fot the help

here in chile that router cost the same and even more that the other two, it would not be such a good idea to buy an older router with less technology for the same price...

I just bought a new router after doing quite a bit of research. I went with the Asus N13U, as it has fantastic performance, range, and reliability, as well as plenty of features. It has a USB port that will work with printers, scanners, storage devices and 3G devices. The real selling point here though is the firmware, better than anything I've used except DD-WRT. And if you like DD-WRT, this router isn't supported yet but it should be eventually.

And don't be so quick to dismiss the WRT54GL. Yes, it's an older model, but it's kind of widely known as being one of the most reliable tried and tested router out there.

I sherched for both routers and I only found the asus, but its kind of expensive here. Could you please refear to the routers I asked for?

thx

Sorry, I know it was a good router, however, I'm not understanding why that router is still being recommended to users. It's very old, is still in the g spec, and is a little bit advanced for people who do not understand how to install or use open source software on a router. The price is the same for many N routers, as well.

I would purchase the TP Link. The antennae located on the router will be much more useful in breaching that concrete wall.
