Well I just bought a router today. It's a trendnet TEW-632BRP. So I wanted to make a wireless connection to my house. But well when I succeeded, then the range was only couple of meters. So I didnt like that and I started messing around with the settings. And I foolishly changed my ip to something else, well anyways that ip doesnt work. So I cant connect to the internet through my router anymore. And I have no idea how to change the ip back. Auto repair doesn't work I've also tried switching the router off for some time. Didn't work either. So well any help would be appreciated! Ok, well I'm not sure if it's actually the problem with the ip, because when I connect my router to my computer it says that no routers are connected? any ideas?

Look in your routers documentation on how to do a hard reset, where it sets it back to default settings and try again. You might have a bad router or bad wireless receiver in your laptop or whatever you are trying to use if you are only getting a few feet out of it.

problem solved, But still well I have this signal area problem. well I have a laptop and it's using linux. So when I go like 3 m away from the router the internet is gone, but I can still see on the laptop that there actually is a connection, actually the highest connection level. I checked the antennas. So any ideas?
