RTW help!

Rome Total War's acting weird, I didn't fully uninstall it previously I think but here's the issue I get when I attempt to Install the game again or uninstall it

try doing a search for all rome total war files and delete them. then try and reinstall. if all else fails you can always reformat.
 
Nope, nothing at all except for the CD that I have in my drive.

I don't know, I have this reformat for my eMachines PC that "reformats" but it keeps all files on system and reinstalls those things that came with my PC originally. Is this good enough for reformatt?
 
well reformating the HD would erase everything. what your taking about sounds like a sort of system restore kind of thing. its worth a try tho.

w8 so that message appears when you try to install the game?
it could be that the CD got corrupt or thiers a scratch..
 
It's an eMachines reformat DVD, I have no idea. It can let you choose to keep current HD files or full erase.

Anyway, theres no scratches on game and I'm borrowing a legit version from a friend
