Run 2 OS??

in the line with partition being one, trying change the value to two. if that don't work then its not likeing the boot off the slave. i dual boot with 2 partitions on this hard drive. runs fine.


multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect

to

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect

i dont think its likeing the booting from the slave.

im sorry but i have to get up at 7....hehe yes in 2.5 hours. my best suggestion is to use the 60gb has space to store music/movies/etc. and put windows and linux on the larger hard drive.
 
I have the same set up? What version of linux you use? Do you use grub to boot? Either way, You need to have the lixun drive as the master and have linux boot up first every time. WINDOWS WILL NOT SEE THE LINUX DRIVE, YOU MUST HAVE LINUX SEE THE WINDOWS DRIVE. ;)
 
ok thx, well i put in another windows xp pro 80GB drive as the slave, now what do i put for the boot ini, here is my current screwed up boot ini:

but when i click on pro it gives me an error, wny ideas, my hp come with 2 partitions already and i just added a new hard drive, does anyone have a boot ini or knows how to edit this??
