rundll32.exe and imagehlp.dll problems from power outage

I had my personal heater running on high. this caused the breaker for my room to go off so my turned off improperly. when i turned my computer back on chkdsk started running and several imagehlp.dll and imageres.dll were removed because they where corrupt. Now i constantly get the following error.



windows host process (rundll32) has stopped working

--> check online for solution

--> close

any help or advice would be great.

Easy Solution, pop in your Operating Disk and run an OS recovery.
The files that were corrupted should be repaired and your system will be back to a workable state. Trying to correct the individual files direct can be a time consuming task especially when those applications could be using other services/files that have also become corrupt. Save yourself some time and run the OS recovery.

Hopefully it was just system files that became corrupted and not your personal information.
